Typical Cape-Style Homes can make for an excellent full two-story. Allowing the 1st floor to be reimagined into an open-concept kitchen/living room/dining room. Expand the useable space in two bedrooms, as well as adding natural light and ventilation

Recent project example: We completed a full second-story addition on a Merrick Cape, creating a 1,200 sq ft second floor with primary suite, three additional bedrooms, and two full bathrooms—all with 8-foot ceilings and abundant natural light.

Roof Dormers

Front-facing dormers add character and light to your home's street appeal. Shed dormers across the rear maximize usable space upstairs without changing your footprint. Both options dramatically improve comfort and eliminate the "can't stand up in the bedroom" problem.
