It was truly ‘A Dream Come True’.
This was the best experience and transformation of our outdated kitchen from the 80’s. To a complete gut of our living room, kitchen, new deck and outdoor living room space dealing with Center Island Contracting was the best choice we ever made. Caleb and his team paid attention to every detail imaginable; from our Coffer Ceiling in our kitchen to our tray ceiling in the living room. All the spectacular Millwork from our foyer entrance up our stairwells and our entire living room really transformed our space. It was truly ‘A Dream Come True’. To nightly email contact and talking during the day Caleb is always there through every step and keeping you well informed of daily schedules and activity on a daily basis. The entire Center Island crew was beyond respectful, never left the jobsite till it was immaculate and their workmanship was impeccable. From design to implementation to completion everything could not have gone better, they exceeded our expectations! We give them the highest compliment and recommend Caleb and his team for any project, we would never use any other company and look forward to our next project with them!

Working with Center Island Contracting was a great experience. Throughout the entire process there was open communication. The contractors kept the space as clean as possible, which was much appreciated while we were living through part of the renovations.
Center Island Contracting did a dormer with a master suite (bedroom, bathroom, walk in closet), renovated an existing bathroom, resided and reroofed our home and added a fireplace. All I can say is WOW!!!! I was very skeptical about looking for a contractor online. I had just purchased a new home and was interested in doing an entire home renovation. CIC was a most welcomed surprised. I needed to do an extension for my parents and it always is a scary thing to look for an honest, caring responsible contractor. Unfortunately, there are too many unprofessional, incompetent contractors around. CIC was nothing but professional, to the point no sugar coating, confident in their work, and his office wonderful to work with during a scary process. Caleb and his workers were incredible. They worked all through the winter and their hours were never 8-3pm when putting on the roof and it was going to snow they stayed until 5:30-6 pm to finish what they needed to protect the site. Caleb sent me an e-mail practically every day to let me know what was done and what needed to be completed. As well as, what I needed to be responsible for. There work speaks volumes the inspectors were in and out with no comments except perfect. I would not give them 5 stars unless they were outstanding. They also helped me with other simple projects which I had not completed and needed to finish. There price was the BEST out of 3 estimates I obtained. You will not be disappointed.

We met with three contractors and immediately after meeting with Caleb the owner, my wife and I knew Center Island was the company we wanted to take care of our renovation. We’re very appreciative of the work that Center Island Contracting has done to our house. Our project with them was truly the full spectrum of Design, Renovate, Build , Improve personified. Center Island Contracting transformed our house from the inside out – designed our new kitchen, renovated our existing bathroom, built an addition to the house for the new kitchen space, installed our central air and heat, improved our layout for an open floor plan and improved and replaced our roof, siding, front stoop and back deck. Plus, doing all that work while we lived in the house the whole time during the pandemic.
We had a one-stop shop experience with Center Island Contracting. This being our first renovation experience, we were clueless on where to start and was hoping to find an honest, high quality and proficient firm that will take our vision into reality. Center Island Contracting did that for us and more. We financed the renovation through a Homestyle loan which required our contractor to go through an approval process, 4 work progress inspections, a final inspection and an appraisal. Center Island Contracting was able to meet all requirements and we did not have a hard time working with them on getting everything in place because they have a clear, efficient and effective process in place along with a great back-office support and the good quality of work that they and their contacts do.
Overall, it was a good experience from talking about our vision, helping us with the permits, meeting the bank requirements and to the actual work and town inspections. We highly recommend Center Island Contracting and will definitely work with them again.
